State Seal of Biliteracy Information

The Seal of Biliteracy is an award attached to a graduating senior who has shown proficiency in two or more languages. This prestigious award is attained by students who have received a minimum of a C in 9-12 English, met standard in ELA 11th grade SBAC, and at AP World Language Language Test score of 3 or higher, successful completion of a 4 year course of study in foreign language with 3.0 or higher/ or completion of Spanish for Spanish speakers 1 11 and AP Spanish with a 3.0 or higher. If a student's primary language is not English he/shall do both of the following ELPAC score of 4.
